“I shut my eyes in order to see.”

Picasso is the reason why I paint. He is the father figure who gave me the wish to paint.”

For an artist, the canvas is a mouthpiece. The artist speaks with vibrant colours, bold strokes, and fine lines. She whispers her secrets, shares her passion, expresses her anguish, and taunts your sensibilities. Are you ready to hear the language of art?

  1. Great picture and poignant thought which I fully understand. However, when i give my grand-children art lessons I always tell them to draw what they see not what they think that things look like. It is only when one has mastered the basic art of reproducing what things look like that one can advance into the beautiful kind of artistic expression which you produce.

  2. Am I ready to hear the language of art? Sometimes, even if I make art myself. There is art that I can not win anything. Where I see nothing and hear nothing. And there is art, there I stand in wonder, devout and adoring because it touches me so deeply. So I can not basically say yes or no.
